    Down with sickness

And once more, I am sick.

    Fever.
    Inflamed throat.
    Chills.
    Stuffy nose.
    Body aches.
    Fatigue.

And I was given plenty of medicine, but no antibiotics. According to the doctor, "Don't worry, it's just a viral infection". And gave me a one day leave from work.

And I called up the ward to let them know.

And I could explode into pieces during the conversation.

You bloody expect me to go down to the emergency department to get a valid medical certificate? You're trying to tell me that my GP is not legal and doesn't give out valid certificates? And the medications prescribed are all whack? Is that what you're trying to fucking tell me bitch?

You expect to go to the staff clinic tomorrow (when it's a bloody public holiday) to just get a temperature check? Don't you think I'm capable of taking my own temperature and recording it down, bitch?

It's just a fucking fever. I get fever several times a year.
I'll only make my way to the bloody emergency department only when my GP says so, or when I'm on the verge of death, ok? If not, there is no fucking way I am gonna spend any cash on transport to just get me to the emergency department. Unless you're willing to pay for it, bitches. And I don't have to fucking wait for over an hour in the fucking fever zone with a fucking mask over my face. And all the medical officers there are just gonna prescribe the same bloody thing my GP did.

If you think this is still old-school nursing, fuck you.
Nurses nowadays aren't so hardcore about their jobs anymore. We don't live for nursing. Fuck you. It must be bloody miserable and sad being you. Gosh, how I'm so glad I am not you, or nowhere close to being just like you bitches.

Last I remembered, my GP is registered in the medical board, just like the fucking medical officers in the emergency department, and just like the asses in the staff clinic who probably knows whack. Please, my GP and I had a great time gossiping about you bloody bitches and your heartless, ruthless self. God, how I wish you're choking and coughing to your deaths right now.

Even better, you guys get infected with the bloody swine flu and just die.

Maybe you escaped SARS. But luck don't come around twice, does it?

Say your fucking prayers, you bloody fuckers.

[[I apologize for the massive cursing and swearing. I'm just so bloody pissed right now. Never make a sick me angry. You won't like it one bit.]]

    Movie Review: Knowing

Tagline: What Happens When The Numbers Run Out

    Watched Knowing today.
I've heard a fair share of good and bad reviews about the movie, so I was actually quite reluctant to watch it.. but since X-Men Origins only comes out tomorrow, and there's no other good stuff to watch, I settled for it.

Amazingly, it was rather nice. Not what I expected. Really loved the effects created in the entire movie.

    So what was it about?
It was about a set of numbers being found 50 years after it was wrote, and John (Nicolas Cage) happened to decipher what the numbers were about: The date, number of deaths and location of world-known tragedies (like 9/11, some massive hotel fire, a railroad wreck, etc). So it was down to the last 3 tragedies, and he wanna try to prevent it from happening. At the same time, his son is able to hear strange whispers, and there are weird guys standing outside his house each night. Watch the movie to know how the story goes, ok?

Anyhow, it was quite a good attempt to use the current situation of global warming into the movie's settings. Solar flare and the massive depletion of the ozone layer, hence incinerating the entire earth. So people, on October 20, the world shall end. Not really.

What I can't take about the movie is the "alien" and "spaceship" part. I know they weren't trying to make a religious movie out of it, but it could be done nicely if they just traded the "aliens" as angels or something like that. Because the ending somehow clearly is trying to depict the "rebirth" of Adam and Eve, and the "rebirth" of a new world. Spaceships, seriously?!

I teared at the parts whereby John had to part with his son because his son was the chosen one who heard the calling of the "aliens". And when he headed home to his family where the tragedy happens. It was quite sad.

So there, I think I almost spilled the entire movie plot out, but go catch it while you still can. It's nicer to watch in the theaters with the big screen and loud dolby surround. I'll give it a 3 out of 5 (It'll be a 3.5 or 4 if not for the "alien" and "spaceship").

    Favorite quote from the movie":
You + Me = Together Forever

    Till next entry.

    Thank Goodness It's Friday.................... already?

I should be working on this Friday early morning... but I'm not.
I'm at home, in front of my laptop, blogging away.
    So what happened somewhere?
I just happened to fall sick... and it's totally uncalled for. I woke up feeling like as though I just did a 2.4km run (my lower limbs are aching so bad), and as though I've been thrown to the ground countless times (my body is aching ultra bad). Feels like as though someone smashed my head against a wall (bad bad headache), and my throat feels like as though I haven't had anything to drink for the past week (it's so parched.. and annoying).

And I still haven't been to the doctor yet... kinda taking my own time cuz I'm supposed to be sick, and there's no point rushing. I really feel I'm someone who will die young all thanks to my rushing state-of-mind-and-schedule. I do things fast. I walk super fast. People who live fast, will age fast, and also die fast. I guess I'm one of them.

I'm just so tired now I think I could sleep the next kerzillion years away. Metaphorically.

For those who were hoping for a ultra-brilliant humorous entry, I sooo apologize. Just in no right motivation to find any interesting topic right now. Next time.

    For now,
    Goodnight, Goodbye For Good.

    Music: What Have You Done

    Title: What Have You Done
Performed by: Within Temptation featuring Keith Caputo

It's been some time since I've posted a music vid here... so here you go.
Upon hearing this song for the very first time, it just reminded me of that guy, "Chris". Just a perfect song I should have discovered a long time ago and shared it with him. Because this song just nicely described our life together for that 3 - 5 years. And now, honestly, I miss him. Still, I would share this song with him if I ever meet him again. "There's a curse between us.... between me and you"

And I bought a North Star wedged shoe... It looks similar to Converse Coolette wedge.

    Small Friends.

    Short entry.

I've opened up a MySavings Account in hope to save some cash... I just checked my account balance, and I wanna cry to it already. I need to freaking save and stop spending. It starts in May. Ugh. There... all my bonuses will go to MSA. The End.

Regarding today's title: Small Friends. It's just a lame joke someone said this early morning. Let's re-enact the scenario (you actually need to be there to find the humor in it)

Me serving meds and heard a voice from far
    "Small friend!"
    I ignored.
    "Hey, my small friend!"
    I still ignored.
"Hey, my small friend! I'm talking to you small friend!"
    I turned around.
    Me: "Talking to me?"
    Lame person: "Ya!"
Me: "You're calling me 'your small friend'?"
Lame person: "Ya! You're small what... so you're my small friend"
Me: "You think you're very big, is it?"
Lame person: "Bigger than you right?"
    Me: "Ya..... right"
Lame person: starts to measure with his fingers the difference "See, I'm this much taller than you, so you're still my small friend"
Me: "Just face it, my dear small friend... you're also short for a guy la, ok? It's facts... and comparing your small frame next to a small girl is just injustice"
Lame person: "Wah small friend, don't like that la... OK OK, I don't bother you anymore. Your vest says 'Do Not Disturb'... so I don't disturb you anymore ok? Don't be angry ah small friend"
Me: "Go away, DO NOT DISTURB, my small friend"
Lame person: "Eh, I thought you're only doing nights? How come you're here? The sun is up leh"
Me: "I decided to haunt you 24/7 now, even in the daylight"
Lame person: "Don't like that leh"
Me: "You better pray hard you're not on-call when I'm on night. Or else I'll call you for stupid things like the other time"
Lame person: "Wah... If I become MO leh?"
Me: "So? Haunt is still haunt... too bad la if you come back here"
Lame person: "Don't want to talk to you already la. Bye bye"
    Me: "Cheerio!"

It's just comical at that point of time whereby we just started chuckling everytime we saw each other. Small friends.

    Joke's over.
    Get lost.

Shoutout to Xin: HAPPY HOLIDAY-ING! DON'T FORGET ME OK! (I shall count down everyday till you come back to work. Hahahahahah!)

    Sentosa: Underwater World

On Wednesday, April 15th, I decided to bring my "suaku" sister to Underwater World. She claimed to have never been there (when she has a decade ago... but who can blame her?). 3 simple words: Total rip off.

But anyhow, I'm just soooooo darn lazy to blog now. I'm sooooooo darn tired. All I wanna do is sleep. It has become my favorite past-time.

And my new roster is up. Book me idiots.

And I bought a Vichy NormaDerm Night Cream. I know I've been like trying to promise not to buy ANY Vichy products because they test their items on animals... but I did a research on PETA, and here's a short list of items I'm already using or had used that do their tests on animals too:
    - Clairol Herbal Essences, Colgate-Palmolive, Johnson & Johnson, Loreal USA (which includes Maybelline, and Redken), Oral-B, Pantene, Veet, SunSilk
So.... since I've used that much products which are already testing on animals..... it doesn't make a difference if I just add Vichy to that list, right? I mean, it's not like I'm gonna stop using all that products now...

    Back to topic.
    Underwater World.

We were welcomed by three very disastrously dressed girls. FASHION POLICE!!

The classic Merlion......... still the same despite being struck by a lightning...

The skinny anorexic dragons that are spitting out water instead of fire.. Are they the Loch Ness Monster?

    Which stretches down to forever....

That's me and my very minah of a sister.

And that's me again. I look so tiny.

And me again! Wahahahaha, I look so fucking skinny from the back. And look at my fucking awesome skinny thighs.

    Can you spot the stingray?

A miniature version of a stingray... which swam quite retardedly.

    Fish.

    Weird acrobatic fish.

    Squidward!

    Sea Angel. It's sooo cute.

The fish is sucking on my finger... Yeah right.

    Spot the fish.

    Cuttlefish.... I think.

    ?

    And Mr. Krabs said 'Hello!'

    Algae-seahorse..... I think. It's soooo nice.

    The faces of a stingray.

    Uhh....

My sister's attempt to catch the attention of a fish.

This is my favorite picture ever. Jellyfish! It looks so beautiful!

And this picture is nice too! I love the blurry background effect.

    The evil Nemo.

    Bloody huge. Ten-legged freaks.

I'll upload the retarded videos another day. I'm so tired now I just need to sleep.

    Goodnight loves.

    As promised...

As promised, here's an elaborated entry about my Sunday.

Xin invited me for an Easter thingy at her church, and I gladly accepted it.. By now, i think i could guess the looks on your fugly faces, and bewildered thoughts: "What? Church service?" It was a visitation, and if you know me by now, i hardly decline an invitation. Visitation, let me stress on that again. I just enjoy exploring the concepts of different religions, and having a first hand experience. Believe me when I say that I've tried reading the bible (and failing miserably cuz I just can't decipher it), I've skimmed through the Satanic not-so-holy book, Scientology book, Buddhism, etc etc. I find religions bloody interesting... It has nothing to do about me trying to find a religion to belong to, blah blah blah.

    Continuing on my Sunday...

Went for breakfast at YaKun (omg, soooo classic), and then made our way to Aljunied (yes, damn far) to Harvester Assembly of God. I was shocked with what I saw, seriously. Not what I expected.

    So what was I expecting?

When you say 'church', I'd immediately have the following in mind: stained-glass, rows and rows of wooden benches aligned, an organ with a big huge cross and statues, with holy water at every imaginable corner, with a confession box at one side.

But nope, I was standing in a modern building (which looked nothing like a church), it has an elevator (yes, it has multiple storeys!).... And I was being seated in an air-conditioned auditorium, with a stage full of props. It was 'Wow'.

Next, the people there are just so amazing. Friendly to the max. I didn't receive even one weird stare or glances, or some querying puzzled look. They welcomed me warmly, and made me feel really comfortable.

The Easter thingy began with some songs praising God.. The songs all had a pretty catchy tune, and well, catchy. Kinda hard to explain..... Something like the church thingy in the movie Sisters Act? Something like that. Then there was a short skit which was interesting till the end, and it was act out really well.. It brought me close to tears, with cool effects and costumes. Super amazing.

I had to leave halfway though, cuz I was dead tired (post-night).. But I might visit that church again..

Trust me, religions are damn interesting.
And who says that someone who listens to death metal or hardcore can't find anything great about religions?

And what about listening to FlyLeaf's All Around Me interpretation?
I figured they might be talking about the presence of God, after all.

    Here's A Promise

I'm kinda running outta time to fully blog now, but I will blog later on during the night.

For the meantime, I sorta listen to this song in a different perspective now.

    Happy Easter Sunday!

    Mini Shopping Spree!

Here's my mini shopping spree that costs me a ton!

From left to right: Coastal Scents 78 colors palette, Coastal Scents Contour palette, HTC TouchPro, 16pc brush set, Black gel eyeliner

Here's my TouchPro up-close. Fucking rad. I still can't get over the QWERTY keypad.

    Here's my 16pc brush set.

    OMG.
I feel like a damn semi-pro make-up artiste now. *laughs*
I intend to get the 88 or 96 colors palette next, plus the lip palette, plus the neutral palette. I feel like getting all the palettes offered by Coastal Scents! I'm super addicted! (Thanks Corrine, for making me have this sinful addiction!)
Anyhow, I'm offering make-up services. Of course charges will apply (duh, if not, how am I suppose to get my supplies, right? Unless you wanna sponsor me).

OK, that's the end of my mini shopping spree madness.
    It drove me insane.
And it will further drive me insane.
And a add-on: the palettes are super pigmented and vibrant. Really awesome colors. They are like the cheaper version of MAC, seriously. Worth the buy.
Add-on: The brushes are sythetic, and soft to the touch. Nice to use, easy to wash.
Add-on: HTC TouchPro is damn ex it caused a hole in my wallet.

And I need to start saving up already.
Bank account, here I come loading you up!

    No Music = No Dream!

    Oh how boredom kills.

It's been close to a week since I've last updated. And my cash is almost all gone now thanks to my madness shopping spree (I'll post up a picture of my "shopping spree" next time).

I bought myself a HTC TouchPro. For real. Totally rad.

And now, on a cloudy Saturday afternoon, I've no plans to go anywhere. No one is free to head out with me. Gahh! Looks like I'll be bumming around at home watching the following:

Don't their make-up just reminds you of K.I.S.S?
    And their music fucking rules!

And playing retarded games to totally corrupt my mind.

And right now, at this very fucking minute, I'm supposed to be in KL with Fairuz and Rania... but something has to happen, and now I'm fucking stuck here in stupid Sg. Next time, ok guys? I really have the need to go shopping again, soon.

    I'm tempted to import this:

It freaking costs US19.99 ONLY! But the thought of importing it with all the taxes, air-shipping fare and all that crap.... I'll be having to pay almost SGD100++. Gosh. I wish I was residing in the US now. No idea how lucky they freakin are.

    And buy this:

Giorgio Armani Code. I know I've a collection of perfumes I hardly wear, but I just want to add this to the collection!

Basically, I'm on a shoe wedges madness now.... I've only got one wedge at the moment, and I wanna add more to my pathetic little shoe collection. I got close to insanity browsing through GoJane. Does anyone know where I could find wedges that are fit for casual wear (unlike those offered by Charles & Keith)? Let me know!!!
