Benefit Dallas and Benefit CoralistaDallas is supposed to be a bronzer, but I find it too shimmery for a bronzer. And it looks much better as a blush when applied with a light hand. Haven't really used it yet, but I think it looks gorgeous.
Coralista has quickly turned into one of my favorite blush! It's such a pretty pinky-coral color, but I do find it too shimmery... But the shimmers do give me a nice glow. And this definitely need to be applied with a light hand, and it is very easy to overdo.

Laneige Automatic Eyebrow Pencil in Dark Brown, Revlon Colorstay Liquid Eye Pen, Givenchy Pop Gloss in 402 Light UpI've been finding for an automatic eyebrow pencil for ages, and found this one! It costs me a whooping SGD29, but the quality is awesome. I've been slowly moving myself to purchasing more Laneige stuffs... I think they're of great quality! One of Korea's most famous brands!
The Revlon eyeliner - Easy to use, but don't really love it. It is not waterproof, and smudges almost immediately when you touch it. But I like the idea of a felt-tip eyeliner-pen.
I haven't try the gloss yet, but I LOVE the golden color.
SkinFood Lettuce & Cucumber Matte Finish GelI use this as a primer. It comes off white with really tiny shimmers, and applies really smoothly over the face, and the shimmers disappear. This doesn't really keep my face matte for long, so I use this primer for work. Bought this at SGD16.50 from
Koreabb. I would definitely repurchase this after I run out, because it is rather cheap, and it really transforms my face into a smooth canvas. Ideal for work.

Laneige Makeup Primer Sebum Control, Laneige Snow Crystal Satin Loose Powder in 03 VioletI LOVE THE PRIMER! It smells FANTASTIC, and does a fantastic job in keeping my face matte. The formula reminds me a lot of Monistat Chaffing Gel, but not as thick. I got this at SGD35.90 from
Koreabb. I will definitely repurchase this primer once I run out!
As for the loose powder, I got it at SGD55.90 from a Metro outlet. Yeap, it is nowhere near cheap. I got it in shade 03 Violet, as it is said to be "translucent" and brightens up the face. And the powder is so finely milled, it feels really soft, like silk to the touch. Blends nicely on the face, but once you overdo it, you might tend to look cakey. Will I repurchase this? Probably not. Kinda expensive for a Korean brand stuff. I think I could add a couple more dollars and get MUFE HD Loose Powder. Then again, I think it will take me forever to run out of this one.

Revlon Vital Radiance Line Softening Makeup with SPF15 in 60 Tawny (Cool) for Normal/Combo skin, Revlon Beyond Natural Skin Matching Makeup in 230 MediumThe Revlon Vital Radiance was discontinued, and I managed to get it online... The product was meant for a more mature skin, but since I've been developing unsightly wrinkles, and have huge pores around my nose area, I decided to use this. It's a shade lighter than my skin tone, but it's awesome. I thoroughly enjoy the pump because not all liquid foundations come with a pump, and it gets pretty annoying when you have to pour it on the back of your hand. It blends nicely, dries up quickly. But I am pretty annoyed about one thing: Normal/Combo skin? Really?
I was skeptical about the
Revlon Beyond Natural Skin Matching Makeup for the longest time, but I needed a foundation that acts like a tinted moisturizer, and is light enough for work. I read lots of reviews, and decided to go for it. I was VERY skeptical about the skin matching part, but I just got it, and tried it on my forehead, and.... it blends seamlessly! It looked like I had no foundation on, but my forehead looks perfect! It really do blend into my skin, and makes my skin looks awesome without looking like I've got too much on. But I don't really fancy the price... If I'm not mistaken, it's SGD29.90 for a 30ml tube. But it has SPF15. But then again, why would I need SPF when I'm working at night?

MAC Cream Color Base in Pearl, Stage Eye Base in AlmondI adore cream color bases, and Pearl has such a nice golden undertones and shimmers to it. It looks really pretty as a brow highlight. I've tried it on my cheekbones, but it looks rather weird. Perhaps I applied a tad too much. But I love it, and it will take me forever to hit the pan for this stuf.
I've tried the Stage eye base, and Almond was a good color choice as it matches my skin color (or pretty much). It neutralizes the lid, and gives me a bare canvas (I've got a bad case of dark circle and minor "bruises" on my eyelid). The item is so darn creamy to the point that I suggest applying an eye primer beforehand. Again, this will take me forever to hit the pan.
Stila Pon Pon Gerbera Cheek ColorI have no idea what shade this is in, but it's a nice pale, cool pink with hints of shimmers. I haven't tried this yet, but the swatch of it looks nice. It might be a bit too light for skin tone, so I might give it away, or pass it on to my sister (who is much fairer than me). I think this will give a nice natural flushed cheek if applied lightly.
Dior Diorshow Waterproof Mascara in BlackThis has become my holy grail mascara! It lengthens, separates, and volumize all at one! I love love love this!
ZA Pore SmootherI was saying somewhere that I've got huge pores around my nose area, and I thought getting this would blur out my pores... but it doesn't. This tiny tub doesn't come in cheap, and it was such a disappointment. But I will still use this stuff up just for the sake of it. It made my skin feel really oily after a couple of hours.

MAC Quiet Please, MAC PeachStock, MAC Pink Cabana, MAC lipglass in Underage, MAC lustreglass in BeauxQuiet Please looks darn similar to one of the MAC lipsticks I've already got, which is called High Tea. It's a nice bronzy color, and rather sheer, so it just gives out a nice sheen to the lips.
PeachStock (notice the different packaging? It's from the Liberty of London collection) is a peachy color (like the name suggests), but when I apply just one coat of it to my lips, it immediately washes me out. It made me look sick.. so I usually pair this with another lipstick, or darker gloss, or just dab it on for a hint of color.
Pink Cabana has become my new love for pink lipsticks. Ever since I got this lipstick, I've been on the hunt for more pink lipsticks! This is a really subtle pink lipstick, with pretty golden shimmers.. Looks really awesome for the beach, for summer in general.
Underage lipglass was described as a light baby pink (well, it looks like a baby pink in the picture when I look at it now), but in real life, it looks like a white. I can never wear this on its own... I will have to apply a darker lipstick color, and this over it to lighten up the look... If not, it washes me out completely.
Beaux is a pretty bronze gloss, and I love the applicator. Instead of the usual doe-foot applicator, this come with a brush (think nail polish brush). It doesn't feel goopy, or too thick, and the color is rather sheer. Looks fantastic with nude lipsticks, or just on its own for the glossy finish.

Missha The Style Under Eye Brightener in Natural Beige, Missha The Style Perfect Concealer in Natural Beige, SkinFood Dark Circle Salmon Concealer in #2 Natural Beige, MAC Studio Finish Concealer in NW30Haven't really tried the
Under Eye Brightener, but it comes off rather thick, hence a tiny bit of the products goes a long way. Got it at SGD8.90.
Missha Perfect Concealer has the same consistency has a MAC Studio Finish concealer! It is creamy, and blends really easily. It is a couple shades lighter than my skin tone, but it works really well for my undereye circles. It brightens the area up, and conceals really well. Will definitely repurchase if I ever run out of this stuff. Got it as SGD8.90.
I've always heard that peachy concealers works best for undereye circle, because it's a corrector. It will neutralize the undereye circle, and since the name states that it is focused on
Dark Circle, I got it. Can't remember the cost of this, though, probably SGD15 or less. It has a peach undertone, but the consistency is too thin to coverup anything. So I mainly use this as a base before applying another concealer on top of it.
And as for the
MAC Studio Finish concealer, I bought this on a gamble. Firstly, I do not know what's my shade in MAC terms. NC naturally means yellow undertone, and NW means pink undertones. I checked out the MAC website, and most of the NW has a tinge of a darker shade than the NC. But this worked really well on my skintone. Hence, I shall dubbed myself as an NC/NW30-35. I'm pretty neutral, I suppose. This covers up any spots you want with just a tiny dab of the product. The product is mad creamy, and I totally love it. Will definitely repurchase.
MAC Hello Kitty (LE) Tinted Lip Conditioner in PopsterThis is an all out pink lip balm. But it feels so smooth, and really moisturizes my lips really well. If I'm just darn lazy, I will just apply this on its own, and head out. Seriously, the color payoff is amazing. It is rather pigmented for a lip conditioner. And it smells nice, like vanilla (then again, all MAC lip products smell like vanilla). I wish this wasn't limited edition, and I adore the Hello Kitty packaging! It's so cute (yeah, that coming from a non-Hello Kitty fan. Ironic, huh?). I will probably purchase more tinted lip conditioners, and I've been eyeing on Close For Comfort, Gentle Coral, and Soothing Beige.
Carmex Lip Balm in a tube - This was raved so much, so I decided to get it. It reminds me of Burt's Bees lip balm, with a tacky smell to it. It has menthol to it, so it will give your lips a tingly feeling, and I do not like it. The last time I used Burt's Bees lip balm which consist of menthol as well, I had a bad reaction, and had sore lips for over a week, till I bought Nivea Hydro lip care.

That's all for the haul for now... Honestly, I would like to include stuff from May as well, but that has got to wait till the end of May. Most of the stuffs are like lying around, and I haven't taken any pictures anyway. But I need to stop splurging because I am dead broke already! I've already spent SGD300 on makeup this month! AHH!
So anyways, if you all haven't heard of it yet, I'll be moving out to end of this month. To where? I honestly don't know yet. Most of the stuff are packed up, and all that's left is to throw the cupboards, the beds, and the unwanted tables and stuffs. I honestly didn't know that there was so much abandoned things lying in the house till we were cleaning up, and threw out EVERYTHING. I only kept my nursing textbooks, and threw the others away. I'm trying to compile my makeup into organizers, so I could just tape the organizer up, and place it in a box, and they're good to go. I'll be packing some into my train case as well.
And the worst part of it all is, we're down to our last 18 days to find a place to stay. We will have t vacate the house by 25th May latest. The HLE we applied for finally for approved (after 5 months of applying over and over, and having it rejected over and over). I wrote a letter on my part stating that I would need to resign my job end of 2010, as I would like to further my studies in 2011, and the total household income would be na-da. So I guess, because of that statement, they finally approved the loan. Because I do admit, I bring back alot of pay each month. My gross is close to SGD3K, so it's not awesome for the loan part. I am gonna miss that pay once I've resigned.
Anyhow, we're tryna find a place to rent for a while before we get a house. The officer told us it would take anywhere between a month up to 6 months to get a house. He said they could give us an Interim Rental Apartment, which is basically a 3-room flat. Sounds awesome? Not really. There's a glitch to that, which is, that apartment has to be shared with another family. Basically, what he's tryna say is that one family will get a room each (irregardless how many people are in the family), and will have to share ONE bathroom, ONE common room, ONE kitchen. Not awesome. And there's 5 of us (4, if you exclude my grandmother out since her name was not in the list as she is supposed to have a house of her own, but she just chose to stay with us). How the fuck are four adults gonna fit in ONE fucking bedroom? And on top of that, I have a brother, for fuck sake. So I'm totally against that idea... and getting an open market rented flat is way too expensive... expensive like SGD2000 for a 3-room flat, excluding electrical bills and stuff. That's like almost all my pay. And what the fuck are we gonna eat after that? My last resort would be to separately rent a room each, and separate for awhile till we get the house. The house isn't all that awesome as well... it's basically a 2-room flat: 1 room, 1 hall. Fuck that shit anyways, I will learn to live with it. It's just the transition from now to getting the new house that's totally fucked up. Even if we were to rent that stupid interim shit, where the hell are we gonna place the TVs we currently have? The sofa we currently have? The glassware? The cutlery sets? The boxes of clothes? Even if we were to rent out rooms, where the fuck are we gonna place them?
Screw that shit. 18 days is no joke.
There's also a ongoing debate on which area to move to - North, East, Central, West, South. My mom wants to move to the East mainly because all her friends are there, and is much more accessible for my brother to head to work (since he's working at the airport). I wanna remain either in the North, or move to Central (or NorthEast), because it's much more accessible for me to head to work, and closer to town area. My sister just don't wanna move to the East. My brother has no preference.
I'm just sick of tired of shit.
If you ask me why I don't believe in God, I can give you plenty of reasons for that. My mother prays everyday, but was there anything? Nope. We've been suffering all our fucking lives, struggling to survive, but was there anything? Nope. It's just a fucking vicious cycle. It's either you're at the top of the world, or you're at the bottom of it. It's either you're in heaven, or in the deepest pit of hell.
Right now, I feel like I'm in hell. And there is absolutely no one who would be able to help us out.
So don't ask me why I do not believe in God. If there was a God, he would have done something a looooong time ago. Maybe I should do all the evil in the world, then I will have things done my way (just the way my father had it easy for him despite all the shit he's done).
God is nothing but a fucking sick joke.
Sorry for all the rambling, but I just needed to rant.
I'm having second thoughts on resigning in August. Maybe I should just wait till January 2011 if I can remain in permanent night till then. I need the cash so badly.
Unless I am able to find a better job with a much better basic pay.
