I know I haven't updated in what seemed like ages, but fret not, I am not dead. Still very much alive, as you can tell now.
I know I promised pictures of my recent haul, but I'm still getting new stuffs, so we'll wait till the new stuffs arrive, ok? By next week, hopefully.
Recently bought a B.B Cream from SaSa, costing about SGD43. So far, no breakouts yet, and hopefully it will remain that way. It claims to have SPF30, moisturizing, helps against blemish and acne, and it's tinted. But I figured out a better way to use it. Mix it together with my Vichy Normaderm Moisturizer. Because the B.B Cream felt a bit too drying to my face on its own.
I am very tired right now, and I'm working night tomorrow. This is total shit. Being tired now. Ugh.
I should stop purchasing makeup items. I should invest into getting more clothes, shoes and bags. Seeing how I'm starting to recycle clothes too often. I don't have regular pump shoes anymore. And I have only a couple of bags. Since it's almost year-end, I know there will be sales. And I am waiting for it.
Anyhow, enjoy the following videos. Watch all 3 parts. You will love it.

Makeup 101.
Before I start off.... my bronzers are here. My brush bag is here. My brushes are all here. But I haven't had the time to take a picture of it. Will do a review once the pictures are up, which will most probably be next week.
--
OK, so today's topic will be dedicated to makeup. I'm just gonna touch on some random makeup items, and explain what its used for, etc etc. There are always better explanations out there, but here are just my two cents on it. Basically, I will also let you know what are the must-haves, and what are optional in your makeup bag. Yes, you should own a makeup bag to start off, so that you at least have a place to store your makeup items.
I will just start from like, face to eyes to lips, or something along that line. It'll be "categorized" that way.
Before you start off with anything, ensure your face is cleanse with a facial wash (whatever you're using).
Moisturizer [must-have] - Apply your moisturizer at least 15 minutes before you apply your makeup, so that the moisturizer is able to set into your face. Pick something that suits your skin type, and something with SPF15 to SPF40 (for protection against UVA, and UVB). Even if you have oily skin, this is still an essential step. Pick out a mattifying, or shine-control moisturizer. Recommendations: For combination/oily skin:Vichy's Normaderm range, or Neutrogena Oil-free moisturizer. For normal/dry skin: Clarins, Eucerin, Neutrogena, etc etc.
Primer [must-have] - This will provide a barrier between your skin, and the makeup. It also ensure that your makeup lasts longer, and it helps in controlling oil/shine. Recommendations: $$ - Smashbox Photofinish Foundation Primer, Makeup Forever HD Microperfecting Primer $ - Sephora Face Primer, Monistat Powder Gel (I admit this is not really a primer, but it works. Used and tested)
Foundation [must-have] - This comes in various coverage : Sheer to medium to full coverage. It depends on yourself, really. It also comes in various forms: Liquid to Two-way cake to Minerals. This provides a base for your makeup (or pretty much). It also corrects all your skin problems by hiding it (again, depending on the coverage). Liquid will leave you with a dewy look. Two-wake cakes will leave you with a matte look. Minerals are light to the skin, but build-able. Recommendations: Liquid - MAC StudioFix Fluid, Makeup Forever HD Foundation, Dior Nude Natural Glow Foundation, Revlon Colorstay Foundation, Loreal True Match Two-way cake: MAC StudioFix Powder Foundation, Sephora Compact Powder, Maybelline Angelfit Foundation, TheBodyShop Compact Powder, Loreal True Match Mineral - BareEscentuals Mineral Foundation, Maybelline Mineral Power Foundation
Concealer [optional] - Covers whatever flaws you could possibly have got: from acne, to undereye circles, to scars, etc. Best to have a correctors palette. Recommendations: $$ - MAC Studio Finish / Studio Sculpt Concealer, Makeup Forever Camouflage Palette $ - Maybelline Mineral Power Concealer, Coastal Scents 10-concealer palette
Blusher [must-have] - This provides a healthy-looking fresh face, giving you the perfect rosy cheeks you could dream of. Trick is not to apply directly to the apples of the cheeks. Recommendations: $$ - MAC Powder Blush, NARS blush, Stila Blush, Benefit Blush, MAC Mineralize Skinfinish $ - ELF Studio Blush, Silkygirl Blush, NYX Blush, Covergirl Cheekers
Bronzer [optional] - If you adore looking tanned the whole year-round, or just have that healthy bronze-like glow on you, this is the solution. It's good to own at least one matte or semi-matte bronzer, and one shimmery bronzer. The matte or semi-matte bronzer could also be used as a contouring powder for that defined sculpted look. Recommendations: Matte or semi-matte: Sephora SunDisk, MAC Bronzing Powder, NARS bronzer, Stila Sun Bronzing Powder, ELF Studio Bronzer in Cool, Rimmel Matte Bronzer Shimmery: ELF Studio Bronzer in Warm or Golden, MAC Mineralize Skinfinish, Stila Stila Sun Bronzer
Loose or Pressed Powder[optional] - This is usually a sheer powder used to help mattify your face during touch-ups, and to set makeups. But if you think this is too similar to your two-way cake, give this a miss. Recommendations: No recommendations. Personally, I'm using Maybelline's Expert Finishing Powder. You could give MAC Skinfinish in Natural a shot.
Eye primer[must-have] - A definite must-have if you're an eyeshadow user. This will ensure that your eyeshadow stays true to its color, and prevent creasing ALL day. Recommendations: Urban Decay Primer Potion, TooFaced Shadow Insurance, MAC Paint Pots
Eyeshadow[must-have] - DUH. Try to purchase a quad that provides a couple of matte or satin finish, and a couple of frost finish. Ensure the quad has a really light color, a light/neutral color, a darker color, and somewhat really dark color. This will allow you to create a smoky look. If you're not the crazy type, go for neutral colors. Dark brown and black are somewhat essentials. Recommendations: $$ - MAC Eyeshadow, Urban Decay palettes $ - Sephora Eyeshadow (single or palette), Coastal Scents palettes,ELF Studio eyeshadow, Maybelline ExpertWear Shadow Quads (this is very foolproof.. the shadows are even labelled as to where each color goes), NYX Eyeshadow, NYX Jumbo pencils
Eyeliner [must-have] - If you want eyes that are captivating, try to line it with eyeliner. If you want a bold look, go for black. For a subtle look, go for brown. Have a flesh-colored or white eyeliner to give your eyes a fresh look. For a soft look, go for pencil liners. Set it with a similar color powder, and I promise the eyeliner will not run all over the place. Recommendations: $$ - Urban Decay 24/7 Glide-on pencil, MAC fluidline, Stila Kajal liner $ - Maybelline Auto-eyeliner pencil, Revlon Colorstay Liquid liner, Splash Liquid liner, Bourjois Clubbing Eyeliner pencil
Mascara [optional] - To accentuate your eyes even further, mascara is the answer. It gives the illusion that your lashes are thicker, and longer. Recommendations: $$ - Benefit BadGal Lash Mascara, Anna Sui Mascara $ - Maybelline XXL Mascara, Bourjois Clubbing Mascara, Covergirl Lashblast, Rimmel Sexy Curves, Loreal Voluminous Mascara
Eyebrow pencil/powder[optional] - Define your eyebrows. These not only frame your eyes, a pretty pair of eyebrows give you a fresh-looking face overall. Recommendations: Anything will do.
Lip balm[must-have] - Not only does this prep your lips, it also helps to moisturize your lips. Very important must-have. After moisturizing the face, the next area that should be moisturized are the lips, and let it sit throughout, letting the goodies set in. Recommendations: Nivea lip balm, Burt's Bees lip balm, Neutrogena lip balm, MAC lip balm. Tinted lip balms are recommended for those who dislike lipsticks or glosses.
Lipliner [optional] - Self-explanatory. Prevents your lipcolor from bleeding. Recommendations: Any drug store brand will do.
Lipgloss [optional] - Self-explanatory. Could be used on its own, on atop another color. Try to own something clear, and something with a glittery finish. Recommendations: $$ - MAC dazzleglass, Victoria's Secret Beauty Rush Lipgloss, Bobbi Brown Lipgloss, Dior Addict Lipgloss $ - NYX lipglosses, Loreal Long-lasting Lipgloss
Other things you should probably own if you want: Eyelash curler - use it before applying your mascara to have the pretty curled lashes. Facial spritz - use it to set your makeup, and freshen up your face throughout the day. Highlighting powder - to highlight the parts of your face where the sun will naturally hit upon for a pretty glow. Q-tips (cotton buds) - could be used for smudging eyeliner, or dip it into a makeup remover to remover the tiny bit of mistake you made. Makeup remover - DUH. Tweezers - remove the stray hairs from your eyebrows. False eyelashes - DUH. And if you're gonna own this, don't forget to purchase an eyelash glue for it as well!
The basic of all things you should have: Brushes. Without brushes, how the hell are you gonna apply all your makeup items? Essential brushes you should own: - Eyeshadow brush/flat-shader brush : A flat dense brush to apply color all over your lid - Fluffy eye brush : For blending out the eyeshadow. - Big powder brush : For powder application, setting makeup, etc. And to apply bronzer - Angled-blush brush : For applying blusher, and contouring your face. - Kabuki brush : To buff out excess makeup, apply bronzer. - Angled-liner brush : To apply gel eyeliner, or fill in brows with powder

I think I pretty much covered what I wanted to cover. I am not the best in makeup, there are tons of experts out there. If in doubt at a store, approach the assistants. Ask them, irritate them, whatever. If I missed out anything, and you would like to know more, do let me know. I'll try to explain them if I could. If I can't, then I'll research about it, and let you know.
Bring me to a makeup store with lots of money, and I'll be one happy girl.
Goodnight lovelies. I'm gonna try fix in the PS2 Kenny passed to me so that I could kill the next 5 hours away playing some games.
Wow, this took 2 and a half hours to finish!

Quote of the week.
My favorite quote of the week came from Gossip Girl, Season 3 Episode 4, an exchange between Chuck and Blair.
If you wanna watch the clip of it, here's the link: CLICK HERE (sorry, I couldn't embed it even if I wanted to... Disabled by request).
And throughout the whole clip, my favorite quote was the following:
"So the next time you forget you're Blair Waldorf, remember I'm Chuck Bass, and I love you"
If you don't follow the story, you probably won't get the quote. Just go watch GG from season 1. It's worth it.
But just love it so much. And the way he says it.
Hands down to Ed Westwick.

It's been so long since the last time I've been in the kitchen whipping up a storm.
By far, I think there was only two very memorable cooking experience I've got (which, up to date, I can never forget). But I shall share just one...
The first experience was a rather disastrous one... the making of a cheesecake. After just receiving the recipe from another friend, I decided to make my own. I bought all the ingredients a day before (and realized I've forgotten certain stuff on the real day), and laid it out on the kitchen counter.
And then...
I realized I didn't have a machine whereby it will auto-whip the butter and eggs for me. I had the MOST difficult time whisking the eggs till it was frothy. I made a mess enough just by cracking the eggs, with the shells going into the bowl. I had an even harder time mixing the butter and mixing it till satisfied. What could have just taken 10minutes, took me almost an hour.
Now, the chocolate. (Yes, I was attempting the oreo cheesecake). I was told to double-boil the chocolate in order to melt it. But instead, I wanted to melt it the easy way. I put the Toblerone chocolate (all 2 bars) into a plastic container, pop it into the microwave, set it to 'High', and left it for 3 minutes. What I didn't check was... the container wasn't made for microwave, so the plastic melted, and my chocolate was gone. I traded the Toblerone for the small bars of Cadbury Dairy Milk, which I double boiled unsuccessfully. It was all clumpy and sticky, nothing of the "fondue" type.
So I pretty much ended with just an Oreo base (which was kindly crushed by my mom in the blender till the blender got spoilt), just a cheese top with specks of chocolate. And I placed it all into a pan.... forgetting to grease it first, or line it first.
Nonetheless, everyone was rather supportive, and told me they enjoyed the cheesecake (although, I admit, it was way too cheesy with no taste except for the Oreo crumbs).
But you should see the mess in the kitchen. And everywhere else.

But enough said, all of you should catch the following:
if you want a movie full of cooking experiences.
Food is love.

Reflections.
It's 1300hours.
I'm a bit cranky now. I haven't slept in... let's see.... 19hours. Nope, this is not the longest I've stayed awake, but my back's killing me. And I so need to finish reading my current book, which I so totally forgot the title. In a good way, because the story is really that good.
Anyhow...
It's almost the end of the year (seeing that it's already almost mid-October, and we're left with like 2 more months before year 2010 hit us).. and I've just looked back this year, and started pondering...
What have I achieved this year?
It was rather a tough question to answer.
Actually, I think I've achieved nothing. But I have some good parts and bad parts...
The good part: I managed to gain more experience in my current workplace. I am glad to know a bit more than I did last year, managed to be a bit more independent that I was last year. I am glad I'm trusted enough to work nights. I am also glad with my payslip (although it could have been better). I am proud with myself with the fact that I am able to save some cash. Not much, but sufficient, and growing each month. I am glad to have found something I've got passion in, which is makeup. I don't get tired applying makeup on others, no matter how long it takes, how tedious it is. I like beautifying people. There is no reason for anyone to remain ugly, when all it takes is a few brushes, and a few makeup palettes.
The bad part: Things at home are so whacked to the point I have no more comments anymore, to the point I'm actually sick of it. Sick of listening to the same old songs being sung. To the point where I just block out, you know, having selective hearing. I'm also feeling quite blah for still being in nursing, when I should be out there, venturing and living life. But I'm not, because I'm stuck at work 40 hours a week, excluding traveling time. I spend my Mondays recuperating from nights. Also feeling quite disappointed that I haven't attained any degree (I've always wanted a degree in Psychology, or Social Work. There's a story behind it, but that's for another day. I know, it's amazing someone with no absolute tolerance for shit wanna take a degree in something like that). Also disappointed that I haven't got the guts to ask for a transfer out to a neonatal ward, because I think that's what I would like to specialize in. Babies. Simply my eye candies.
And remaining single. Simply amazing. I simply don't have time for men right now, that I think I might just turn lesbian one day.
I've lost certain friends this year, but attained new friendships. But, people come and go. That's what I think. In my life, that is. I am not the most sociable person in the world. I don't talk much. I don't smile much. I am pretty much a stoner. I don't try to fit in anywhere I don't belong. Pretty anti-social, if you must say. I think the friend I totally lost for good is Kyle. After 4 years, I think I finally caught him red-handed with his bullshit. And it's over. I had plenty of good times hanging out with him, watching movies. It's kinda sad having the friendship ruined, because I thought he was the one friend I feel comfortable with, like a younger brother. I can talk to him about anything, and he has this "special power" to sense when I'm not alright. He gives me hugs at the right times, and chooses the right movies to watch. Oh well..
I still haven't found "Chris" after 3 years of looking for him. The last I heard from him was in late 2007. There are questions I want answers to, which only he would be able to answer. Yes, he was an ex of mine, but no, I am not looking for answers as to why we broke up, etc etc, all that crappy sappy stuff. I want answers to something deeper, darker.
I haven't grown any taller. I have grown fatter, though.
And I just wondered why is it that each time I like a guy (for this year, at least), they turn out to be perverts, or something along that line. I thought it was just that one guy, but turned out, the second guy I liked turned out to be one as well (or what someone told me). Just great, right?
I'm attracted to perverts. Because they are horny like that. Kidding.
And I need to travel. I need to go somewhere. Anywhere. Just out of Singapore soon. I haven't travel in such a bloody long time. My new passport is still clean, fresh. No stamps of anything. It's just awaiting to be filled. Someone bring me somewhere, please?
I guess that's it for my reflection for year 2009. I might be making a similar post towards December... just for reminiscing sake. Seriously, I feel like my 2009 flew by so fast I can't keep up. I'm only 20, but I feel like I'm 35. So much responsibilities. So much crap. I can't even enjoy the last bit of my teenage years till I become a full-pledged adult in a couple of months' time. And well, YOUNG adulthood. The time to go mad, party, live life like there's no tomorrow. But nope, like I said, I feel like I'm 35 for some reason.
Oh my, on a random note, I'm addicted to Chuck Bass. Hahahahahahahahahahahaha.
This is the point where I start talking crap because I am so darn tired. Pictures of my latest makeup goodies will be posted soon..... when I make time to snap some pictures. It's nothing major, but yeah. New goodies to add on to my collection.
Till then. Goodnight. Or rather, have a blast of a day.

Movie reviews.
Movie number 1:
Like I said in a previous post... the reason I wanted to watch this movie was because Amanda Seyfried and Megan Fox are in the movie. Oh, and not forgetting yummylicious Adam Brody as well (for a 30 year old dude, he's freaking hot).
The storyline was quite blah. A Satan-worshipping indie band, really? And a fire that started off from nowhere, really? (correct me on this if I'm wrong) A succubus, really? I've always thought that a succubus will seduce men to have sexual intercourse with them... And that's where they drain the men's energies... I don't recall them EATING the flesh and blood of the men. Or do they swing both ways.
But overall, kudos to Diablo Cody for such an interesting movie, with great humor in its script. The plot sorta keeps you at the edge of your seat for a while. Love love love the ferromagnetic fluid thingy. Love the music choices for soundtrack. And you even get to see Megan Fox without makeup (or sorta).
Watch the trailer: (omigush, I wish I could burn my tongue like that)
Would I recommend others to watch it? Yes. Will I watch it again? No.
--
Movie number 2:
Note to all: This is NOT a newly released movie. This movie came out in 2002, and I just stumbled upon it today.
And if you haven't watch it, YOU FREAKING SHOULD!
What could you expect when you have three guys, dressing up like drag queens, and crashing into a sorority house? Wait, lemme edit that: a boring-full-of-ugly-failure-ladies sorority house.
You could expect LOADS of laughter. Seriously. No kidding.
Just take a look at the transformation:
From men:
to drag queens
walking like models
I promise you will laugh yourself silly, watching these guys touch into their feminine aspects (eg: makeup, dresses, emotions, etc). And the guys look really pretty with the makeup on.
And c'mon, Barry Watson is in the movie... What more could you ask for? So what if he's like 35, he's freaking hot. (OK, maybe I do have a thing for older guys).
And towards the end of the movie, just watch his puppy-eyed face, and that voice. How could anyone possibly say no to a voice like that?!
Enough talk. Watch the trailer: (watching the trailer makes me laugh enough)
Would I recommend others to watch it: YES! Will I watch it again: DEFINITELY YES!!!
--
That's all for now. And I'm off to sleep. It's like 0645hrs now, and I haven't slept the entire night. And my eyes are really raw now. Ugh.
And I got a bad news over the night: My bronzer came smashed. But good news is, I'm getting a refund. And with that refund, I'm getting not one, but two bronzers (of course I had to top up a bit more. duh). Pictures will come when items are all here.
Goodnight folks. Or rather, have a blast of a day.

Just an update.
Before I sit and get myself comfortable to watching a movie, I shall do an update blog first.
I had my TR done today, and paid the rest of the amount I owed them. Even with the numbing cream, it hurt like hell. Honestly, I think the numbing cream did not work its magic. It freaking hurts, and disappointing thing is that the doc told me that I should start considering another method of TR if another couple of sessions make no difference. I'm contemplating between sanding and excision.
I went around JL looking for a pack of wedged sponge... Found a pack of 24 costing SGD4.90, but didn't buy it. I'd just use my brushes and fingers.... my fingers are the best tools ever.
Was looking for an eyeshadow quad, and I could only find Maybelline's quad, but they didn't have the colors I was looking for... So I searched for it on eBay, found it, and bought it. I'm just awaiting the seller to confirm the payment details and such. That cost SGD12.90. Will post a picture once I've got it.
E.L.F postage update: Just received word that I will be getting it in about a week's time.
Also got myself an Agnes B. makeup bag... because I figured I need to carry my makeup in a bag instead of all of it being loose inside my big bag. And it's brown in color... Finally something different. I couldn't find a black or pink version then.... but now, when I searched for it, it's like sprawling all over. Ugh.
I'm currently on the hunt for a nice bag. Which I can't seem to find....
And, to add on, if you're fans: - The Simpsons season 21 is OUT! I enjoyed the first 2 episodes, and can't wait for the rest! - South Park's new season is coming out SOON! Although they are getting lamer and blah, they are still worth the watch. - Gossip Girl season 3 is OUT! (in case you didn't see my previous post)
And yeah, that's about it. I need to control my spending up till payday now. Tight tight, damn tight budget.

xoxo
Gossip Girl is now back with its third season!
And after watching the first 2 episodes, I am itching to watch the rest of the season as the story unfold itself!
I can't wait!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I miss watching the suaveness of Chuck Bass (honestly, he's my fave character. The character is so hot, and Ed Westwick pulled it off perfectly). I miss watching Blair Waldorf bitchiness. I miss watching Dan Humphrey's blanked out face.
I just miss the show so much. LOL.
XOXO

Spree!
It's barely mid-October, but trust me when I say I'm flat broke. Not as in literally, but I've sorted out my finances, and yeah, I'll be broke right before payday. Right now, I've only SGD160 to spend for the month.
Anyways, all my items are here (except the ones I ordered from ELF), and went on a mini-spree (not quite, actually) a few days back. And right now, I'm soooo bloody tempted to get Victoria's Secret Diamond lipstick and Lasting EyePrimer (which is selling at a very good price: SGD23 and SGD17.90). If I spend on that, I'd be left with SGD120 to spend for the month. Boo.
Side-tracked.
I wanted to just make a video to show all the new items I've got, but my sister took away the camera. So I could only take photos (because my cellphone's cam function suck). Oh, and the colors are washed off all thanks to my stupid cellphone cam. Can't show you the vibrancy of stuff.
I know!! It's such a pretty black clutch! But when you open it up.....
You'll get a set of 15 brushes! And the inner lining of this clutch is made of velvet.... There is no way I'm gonna put back the brushes in the bag without the plastic covers. There is no way I'm gonna dirty the clutch.
Wanted to get the matte black-handled brushes initially, but decided to go for this kinds instead. Red-lacquered handles. The brushes are unbelievably soft. And don't these brushes remind you of Smashbox brushes? What my brushes are lacking are just the "smashbox" imprints.
Essence of Beauty Duo Deluxe Brush Set. This is gonna be my travel brush set. It has the essential brushes, super compact, has its own case. And any dimwit will be able to know what the brushes are used for because it even comes with instructions! And the brush handles itself has the labels printed out (eg: Powder brush, Concealer brush, etc). Again, this is super soft. Super love it!
This is my new favorite eyeshadow palette! I am soooo sorry the camera isn't showing the beautiful colors this palette holds. This palette mainly has neutral, earthly-toned colors like browns, but it also has shades of blues & greens, and whites/silvers. It's just really really pretty, and this is my definite palette for a smokey-eyed look. And if you're wondering what's up with the eyeshadows in the middle, it is basically a combination of 2 colors (eg: black and silver, brown and green, black and green, etc).
Revlon ColorStay Liquid Foundation. A lot of people raved about this liquid foundation, and some even say that it's very similar to MAC's Studio Fix Fluid. And I just gotta get it. Yes, the packaging is the same (a screw-cap with no pump inside). Price? Definitely cheaper than MAC. I like the fact that it comes in 2 ranges: Normal/Dry skin and Combination/Oily skin. I have oily skin, and it's very difficult to pull off a liquid foundation without looking even oilier. A little of this product goes a very long way. It has medium to full-coverage, and transfer-resistant. It doesn't feel heavy on my face either. I'm giving this 2-thumbs-up. Get this foundation if MAC is too pricey and if you're on a tight budget.
Urban Decay Primer Potion in Sin. I couldn't find the original UDPP, so I bought UDPP in Sin instead. This is a pretty shimmery eye primer, and all it need is just a teeny weeny bit of product onto the eyelids. I think this works really well with shimmery eyeshadows. It is of a champagne color, very nice, very natural. (I forgot to swatch!) This is a real life-saver. There are days (everyday, actually) whereby I just have no time to do the eyeshadows, so now, all I do is use this onto my eyelids, put on eyeliner, mascara, and I'm ready to go. It works as a highlighter as well. I got this for SGD30, and yes, it's worth every cent. And I'm still looking for the original UDPP.
Too Faced Shadow Insurance. Got this for SGD28 at Sephora... Heard that it's much better than UDPP. Again, this is a eye primer. The tube is much much smaller than what is in the picture, but I suppose it should last for a couple of months seeing how I only need a small amount each time. It's a very creamy product, easy to blend out. Yet to test the full potential of this primer.
Benefit product: High Beam, Benetint, EyeCon. All these are sample sizes to test out the product before getting the full item. High Beam is used as a highlighter, and honestly speaking, it's way too shimmery for me. And the color is a little too light for me. Perhaps I should try out Moon Beam, as it is of a darker shade. Benetint is a cheek stain, used to get those natural-looking rosy cheeks. And I love it! Just have to put like 3 short streaks on the the cheeks, blend it out, and there, you've got natural flushed cheeks. It's a bit watery though, and blending it is not easy. EyeCon is a brightening eye cream. I haven't try this thing out yet..... so no comments.
NYX Round Lipstick in Circe. Yes, I got TWO of this lipstick because I love the color! Got this for SGD6.90 each. It is the most beautiful nude color, and I don't think I'd trade for any new lipcolor anytime soon. Again, sorry the swatch didn't show up properly in the third picture, but then again, it's a nude color, so it might not show up against my skin at all. But this is the lipcolor I always use when I'm out. It is soooo pigmented I don't have to mute out my lips with concealer. Love this thing.
Maybelline Lipstick Moisture in Real Nude. I got this because I couldn't find Revlon's Matte Lipstick in Nude Attitude (because stupid Sg only brought in 4 matte colors). This isn't as nude as I thought it would be. It has a slight coral shade to it, so it makes my lips look "natural" rather than nude. Very moisturizing. Very creamy. I tend to mix this lip color with NYX Circe to get a perfect shade.
BodyShop Lipscuff. No, it is not a green lipstick. It's a lip exfoliator. This is best applied before applied lip color. It has this rather sandy-feel to help remove the dead skins from the lip. Since I couldn't find any other lip exfoliator, this is pretty good for now.
BodyShop Lipliner in Nude. Bought this pencil lip-liner because I don't have a nude lip-liner. Very creamy, easy to apply. Has a hint of shimmer to it. But I think I'm gonna hate the process of sharpening this thing.
My mini collection of lip products! Anything lip-related goes in here. Ever since this collection is growing, I've sorta abandoned my lip palette.
My new storage area for brushes! I just bought the glass and stones today. Believe it or not, the glass cost only SGD2.30. The stones cost SGD3.50. The stones are a bit to big for me to stick the brushes easily, so if you know anywhere that sells smaller stones or clear beads, do let me know. And if you also know anywhere that sells medium to large clear glass, let me know as well.
And this is where I store almost all my loose makeup items: in a toolbox. Not just any toolbox, it's an orange toolbox! Since I can't afford a train kit now, this would have to do, and it stores pretty well. I'm planning to get the Sephora Train Kit for SGD150 soon... But this toolbox cost me only SGD16.90. Very huge difference, huh?
And only after I came back home today did I remember that I totally forgot to buy a bag of wedged sponge. Ughhh.
And I still have a list of items to get: - MakeUpForever Camouflage Palette #5 - Smashbox Primer - Milani Glimmerstripes - Dior Foundation - MAC Style Black eyeshadow in Young Punk & Blue Flame
Was quite disappointed to walk by MAC to realize that Sg hasn't brought in Style Black yet.
That's it for now. I just got to know that my ELF items are being shipped out today, so it should arrive in another 7 to 10 days time. Will post out photos when it's here.
