    New playlist.

Since the previous playlist was super fucked, I managed to find a temporary playlist.

I am yet finding for a better one.

Sorry it can't be auto-shuffle for now.
    That empty space on top?
Left it for a new playlist...
I'm just too lazy to deal with the HTMLs and tweaking later on..

    Bored... and tired.

Just completely bleached my hair today, and now it's some orangey color, with a mixture of some yellow.

    It looks fucking weird.

I'm contemplating on whether I should re-bleach my hair, and have an all-over yellow hue.

And because I bleached my hair, my fringe is now whacked. It's fucking wavy now, not straight anymore. Bleaching destroys the way your hair is supposed to be. So there, I have super whacked destroyed orangey hair now.

I know I'm soooo gonna get scolded at work (again) for my hair color. Please people, I hate conforming. I love having attention. I would love my hair to be multicolored, if possible.

So there, I'm all prepared and set to be reprimanded for my hair. What-fucking-ever.
My hair, my business whatever I wanna do with it.

    --

So, like I was saying, I was fucking bored, and probably sleep soon.

I was youtube-ing Alesana for the past an hour and a half, re-viewing their 2 music videos, their behind the scenes videos, their interview videos, and.... I thought, let's watch their 'live' videos.

(There's currently a fucktard irritating the shit out of me online, and all I wanna do is smash his head open till all his brain matter splatter all over)

Anyhow, back to the 'live' videos. It was bloody amazing (makes me itch to see them 'live' even MORE). They pulled off their songs really nicely. I was watching one of their gigs, and I would go insane from pleasure if Dennis screamed into my face like that and probably pull onto his hair till it's pulled out), and if Shawn moshed (and I'd probably pull his shirt till it rips). I think I'd make a pretty freaky fan.

    They SHOULD tour here.

    SHOULD.
    and WOULD.

Just go listen to their music and watch their videos, ok?
    I promise it won't disappoint.
(and you'd see why I find Shawn so fucking irresistably smexy)

    --

If I was a multi-rich kid, I'd pay Alesana to play for my birthday. Seriously. *LOL*

I want a freaking bass guitar.
I was more posters of Alesana (and autographed, too!)
I just want to see them 'live'

    Ugh.

Mission: Soon to be accomplished... I hope.

Step one to achieving orange hair (or highlights, in my case):
    - Bleach your hair blonde.

Well, mine isn't platinum blonde, but still, blonde.

And no, it's only partially done for now. Will complete entire hair tomorrow.

Go and listen to The Used new album, Artwork, if you haven't already. It's entirely new, and pretty awesome, I might say! Love it!

    Music: Intensity in Ten Cities

    Title: Intensity in Ten Cities
    Performed by: Chiodos

    --

I've always thought this song was performed by Secondhand Serenade.. Couldn't believe it when I realized it was Chiodos. It's such a nice change of music, and I've been listening to this amazing song in repeated mode for the past half hour.

The lyrics are just super... wow.

    Enjoy the song.

    Ultra quick haul.

    Just a quick one.

I know I'm super mad to be doing my shopping at 3.30am in the freaking morning.

But I just purchased a Bobbi Brown's lipgloss in Mauve, and 2 NYX's lipgloss in Natural and Brown Topez.

Was soooo tempted to purchase NARS' lipgloss in Dolce Vita (to compliment my super faved blusher of the same name at the moment). NARS is not even available in S'pore. The blusher should cost about SGD60, but I got it at SGD20. Love love love!

FYI, NYX is the equivalent to SilkyGirl in the states. But wayyyy better. Wayyyyy cheaper. Oh, something like ELF cosmetics! But, like I said, way better. The lipglosses actually costs 2bucks in the states, and I'm paying SGD7.90 each. Still, a good price for a good lipgloss.

I might go down to MAC cosmetics tomorrow to get a lipstick in Blankety, or something of a nice nude color. I'm just really into nude lipsticks and glosses nowadays, and I absolutely don't know why.

I might get a bronzer too.
I'm running out of bronzers and it's scaring me like Idk what... because bronzers are practically my life (in the makeup world).

    I should stop splurging.
    Seriously.

My makeup box is filling itself wayyyy too quickly, and I barely have the time to wear any makeup. Gosh, help me!

Perhaps I should start applying makeup to work... NOT.

the beauty exposed ; 3:39 AM

    Honestly, I am bored.

I just finished my KFC meal.

Happily packing on the fugly unwanted weight.

I remember back then, during my secondary school days whereby I would survive everyday with just 2 packets of milo. From 6am all the way till 6pm. And when I reach home, I just eat a tiny portion.

    Every-fucking-day.

And that was how I managed to maintain my weight. And soon, I shall do that once more. SO I could shed all these unwanted weight!!! I need to freaking lose 3-damned-kg, at least. *After bulan puase ok? Because you still need to sahur in the morning*

    --

    Anyhow..
I am so coloring my hair blondish-orange tomorrow night. I can't take it with the black hair sprouting out of my head. I just hate conforming to the color the rest of Asia has. It's just boring. It screams 'boring'. So tomorrow! Despite just straightening my hair a couple of weeks ago, I'm sure it won't be anymore destroyed than it already is.

Trick to having rather soft hair, which looks rather shiny and smooth: I don't shampoo my hair everyday. I shampoo only twice per week to get the residue or dirt out. I DO rinse my hair with water everyday, and apply intensive treatment EVERYDAY, hence that is why my hair still smells nice despite not shampooing.

Shampooing everyday will just dry out your hair EVEN more. Try to forgo the shampoo for a week, just do it with a conditioner. Trust me, you'll love your hair by the end of that week.

    --

And people, stop asking what the hell happened to my eyebrows.
I know there used to be a time back then whereby my eyebrows would be drastically arched for a week, and then curved nicely for another week, etc etc. Also, stop asking me where all my eyebrow hair has gone to. It's removed (not permanently, tho), and trimmed to the point of nothingness. I no longer am capable of shaping my eyebrows whatever design I want it to be, because whatever is plastered onto my face now is gonna be there for quite a while.

    And I like it.

I like the fact that I wake up with nicely filled brows. I like the fact that I do not have to waste 30minutes of my everyday life just to fill in my brows, ensuring that they are rather symmetrical, to a correct shade of darkness, correct length, etc. I like the fact that I no longer wake up or after washing my face without looking like some cancer-stricken kid with no brows (or sparse brows), or looking so god-damned eerie.

What did I do to my eyebrows?

    Go figure.

Yes yes, I now have pencil-thin eyebrows.
And no no, I am not a minah.
I just like thin neat eyebrows with a god-damned nice arch.

    --

    OK, that's it.
    I need to sleep.
    Goodnight!

Paramore's new music video, Ignorance, from their new upcoming album, Brand New Eyes, which will be out in late September.

    I can hardly wait.

And I want orange hair. Period.

    No price can stop me.

Blogger is a bit of a retard nowadays.
In fact, I think it's my laptop that's a bit of a retard nowadays.

It's hinting me to purchase a new laptop.... soon.

It's raining outside now, and I'm begging to get some sleep. But I can't till my sister gets home.
    Why?s
No one's around to take care of my not-so-well grandmother.
And I'm seriously sleepy and tired to the max.
I think I can simply zone out in this chair right now.

And did you know GPs no longer make house calls till the H1N1 thingy is over? I just found out about it today when we wanted to get a house call done. Major ass disappointment.

    --

I came to the conclusion that no price shall stop me from purchasing more makeup, to fulfill my satisfaction in having a mini collection.
I just purchased a Bobbi Brown lip gloss in Mauve.
I'm awaiting for confirmation for my purchase for a MAC lipglass. I might just buy more than one if I love the colors offered.

I'm just building up my collection. My makeup toolbox looks pretty filled now.

    --

And now, I'm really tired. I'm getting pretty pissed off. I'm VERY agitated.
One more fucking shit, and I will go postal.

    Change of plans.

I might not have a birthday party for this upcoming 21st birthday of mine.

I might save up the cash to get the diploma I've been aiming to get all this while.

And perhaps, quit my job, or, if possible, do it part-time.
Or just get another job at a retail store.

    And for presents,
do not wreck your precious little brains.

Just get me anything make-up related.
Let it be brushes, palettes, etc etc.

    I'd love it.

But if I think I feel like celebrating, I'd take up the offer at Zirca for their birthday bash thingy... If they still have it.

Painful till you can breathe no more.

I've had no intentions of blogging today.

But I thought I'd just share something out that's scaring me shitless.

Since at work this morning, I suddenly had an episode of chest tightness and difficulties in breathing that lasted for about half a minute or so. Felt pretty faint, but no, I did not collapse.

    The episode ended.

    I felt bloody relieved.

And then it happened again, and when I try to inhale in as much air as I can, my chest tightens and hurt even more.

It's like the pain is smacked right in the middle of my chest.

And it's been happening on and off the whole day today.
And when there's no tightness, I just get this very uncomfortable "pressure" on my chest. It's hard to described.

I suppose it could be just muscle pull, or I over-exert my chest muscles too much, but to think about it, I didn't do anything much today. I did not even accidentally hit my chest onto anything. I do not have a history of asthma. I hardly smoke. Want to say it's heartburn, but it has no association with eating or swallowing.

I was told to go to the Staff Clinic today, and get it checked out. But me being me, I am just too scared. I didn't have the guts to keep my appointment with a Hand Surgery doctor for my left wrist problem! Someone offered to get an ECG done, but I'm just embarrassed shitless (who wouldn't?!).

So here I am, sucking in the on and off pain.
I just hope it's just an episode, and will go away by tomorrow after a good night's sleep.

I was looking up on it, and there are so many possibilities: Adult-onset asthma, angina, pulmonary embolism (yeah right). Heart attack (I'm too young for that, seriously). Coronary artery something (again, yeah right).

In case you're wondering, I don't have palpitations along with the episode.

    So if I die tomorrow,
    oh well.
    You all know why then.

    --

On a lighter note: I've purchased a couple of things.

Loreal 6H Megashine Gloss in shade #120.
    - This looks so bloody sexy when I swatched it on the back of my hand. It's this shimmery pinkish-orange color, and it lasted vibrantly on the back of my hand for like 3 hours without fading or "melting". So I decided to try it on my sister when she went out the other day. It was quite disappointing: it looked dry on the lips, and I had to apply for her another layer of lip gloss for the glossiness. My sister said it feels pretty dry on the lips as well. So I suppose a lip balm or moisturizer needs to be applied before the gloss.

I swatched a few lipglosses at the back of my hand, and Silkygirl's glosses didn't last very long. Revlon's glosses "melted" after an hour, the color just disappeared, leaving behind just the glossiness. Loreal's glosses stayed on. I didn't like the packaging to Maybelline's glosses, so didn't even bother swatching it till they get better packaging. Tried Lord & Berry's, didn't last either. I'll try Bourjois' glosses one day. And am planning to get MAC's DazzleGlass soon.

    NARS Blush in Dolce Vita.
Just purchased this online at a really awesome price. Now I can't wait to have it arriving in my mail.

    Makeup 101.

Nope, I am not gonna teach you about makeup. I'm just gonna ramble about some makeup items and shit like that.
If you need my makeup services, contact me. If you want to "donate" your face as a canvas for me to do my experiment on, contact me too.

My brushes after a nice wash (and still drying out).
    Let's start from the bottom:
    1. The Stippling Brush (pink-handled): Used to stipple on liquid foundation for a nice airbrushed look. Had a few sheds after the wash, but still smooth and nice to use. I managed to clean thoroughly and get the tip of the fibers back to white.
    2. Blush brush: Can't even remember where I bought this one from. It's just nice to use.
    3. Blending Eye Brush: Bought this from E.L.F. Pretty nice to use. Pretty soft. It's good to just get a wash or highlight color and blend the harsh lines at the crease.
4 - 6. Flat shader brush: Comes in many different sizes for different eye shapes (big eyes, small eyes). Also for the amount of color (inner corner, or entire eyelid). Picks up good amount of product.
    7. Stiff Angled brush (small): Supposed to be used for filling in the brows, but I use it for eyeliner. It just gives a precise line and thickness I want or require.
    8. Lip brush: It does what it says - for the lip.
    9. Angled brush (big): Used to apply bronzer, blusher or contouring.
    10. Foundation brush: A big brush I use as an all-over-face brush. Very very soft.
    11. Kabuki (black): Got this with a Maybelline mineral purchase. It's small, the bristles are rather scratchy to the face, but a few sheddings upon washing. My sister is crazy about this Kabuki.
    12. Kabuki (red): Just received this in the mail today. Bought it because I love the color, but I'm rather disappointed with it. A lot of shedding at first wash, I'm rather horrified to wash it again in fear it will go bald. Rather stiff, but better than the black one. Used to buff out excessive makeup, or just blend everything nicely.

The rest of the brushes are in its pouch: Fan brush, Eyebrow brush, "Mascara" wand, Flat shader brushes of different size, Blush brush.

    From top left:
    1. Jordana Brown all-over-color: Bought this as a highlighter. Gives out a rather nice glittery glow. (My alternative to Bobby Brown's ShimmerBrick)
    2. SilkyGirl Blusher: Duh. Blusher. I just like this product. Cheap AND good color payoff.
    3. Jordan Pink all-over-color: My sister tempted me to buy this, so I got it. Another highlighter. (My alternative to Bobby Brown's ShimmerBrick in Peony)
    4. E.L.F Bronzer: My favorite of it all. It gives you a nice warm glow, something like the "summer" look. I'm still looking for a matte bronzer. Most bronzers are shimmery.

    From left:
    1. Lip gloss: Belong to my sister's. She took from our cousin. Probably bought in KL.
    2. Body Shop Lip balm in Strawberry: Belong to my sister's. Love the strawberry smell and taste.
    3. NYX lip gloss in Crystal: Just bought this off at a VERY good price. It's clear, and gives out a good amount of shimmer. Meant to be used atop another lip color. But it smells funny though. The smell just reminds me of Paracetamol Suspension.
    4. Strawberry lip gloss: Imported from London. It smells like Strawberry. It gives out a very sheer shimmery pink color. Could be used on it own, or atop another lip color. Seriously love this item.
    5. Silkygirl Lip gloss in Nude: Gives out a very sheer light brown/peachy color, thus "nude" color. The thing I don't like about this is that the color fades off really fast. And I really mean really fast.
    6. Maybelline Watershine Lipstick: A very nice natural-looking pink color. This dries up on my lips though. So I always have to put on a lip balm before applying this lipstick to get a smooth application.

I'm still gonna add more lip gloss to my collection. Looking for good deals for NYX glosses cuz I just find it so bloody amazing!

    From left:
    1. Maybelline Mineral Foundation in Sandy Beige: Imported from the States (as you all know, Singapore only has got 3 shades available). I haven't try this yet, so can't really ramble about it.
    2. Maybelline Expert Finish Loose Powder in Sand: To be used after you're done with all your makeup. It acts like a "veil", like a finishing touch to your makeup to give out a well-blended look. Supposedly helps for those with natural-occurring oily faces. Don't use it with the sponge, it just removes all your makeup in the process. Use a face brush or kabuki brush.
    3. Maybelline Liquid Foundation in Apricot Sand: Liquid foundation are not recommended for those with oily skin, seriously. It's hard to explain till you've got the product on your face. Stipple for a nice airbrushed look. Use it with a powder foundation to even out application.
    4. Maybelline Mineral Concealer in Sandy Beige: Got this together with the mineral foundation.
    5. Maybelline Mineral Liquid Foundation in Sandy Beige: Got this due to a wrong order. But it works slightly better than the other liquid foundation.
    6. Maybelline Concealer in Medium: Love this concealer. It's creamy, and a little goes a long way.

Forgot to add in my Maybelline Pressed Powder Foundation.

And I just realized I'm rather a fanatic for Maybelline prodcuts when it comes to the face. Why? Because it doesn't give me breakouts like the other products do!

    From left:
    1. Dusting powder: This powder gives out a shimmer, and is to be applied to the neck, chest, hair nape. Bought this from NYP (I just love the packaging, and adored the purple powder inside)
    2. Monistat Chaffing Gel: Used this as a facial primer, and it really works. I was worried about having breakouts, but amazingly, it doesn't. It really help sticks makeup to your face, thus giving you a really flawless look. It's a colorless gel that is smooth to apply, and helps to keep the face matte for the day. Love this product!
    3. Beuteen Canmake Colors in Blue: This was a free gift that came along a hair dye. It's a shimmery blue gel, and I have no idea what is it for. It can't be for the eye because after blending, it's a sheer shimmery blue. I really don't know.
    4. The Black Tube: Belong to my sister. Since we've no idea what is it for, and it doesn't come with instructions, we decided to use it as an eye primer. And it freaking works!

I saw Smashbox Primer yesterday, and I soooo love the texture it gives out. And I'm still gonna invest in Urban Decay's Primer Potion, or MAC Painterly Paint Pots.

    Concealer Palette + Correctors.
I know it's not visible in the picture, but the top left color is white (meant to be used as a highlighter), below it is green (meant to neutralize redness a.k.a cover acne spots), and below it is purple (meant to neutralize dark circles, or blemishes). Second column, first color is yellow, also meant to neutralize dark circles. The rest are different shades of browns to match the skin color. Could be mixed. It's not as creamy as I thought it would be, feels rather powdery. I want something creamy, not powdery! And don't really rub nicely into the skin.

    Blusher palette.
I know the colors look nice in the picture. I was enticed by it as well. Bottom row, first color is a very bright hot pink. Last color is red. Who in their sane minds would put that on their cheeks?! Unless they wanna look rather 'wayang'. The color payoff is not so good. It's very extremely sheer to the point of not seeing anything. I don't know how many applications is needed to get a nice shade of pink for rosy cheeks. I can mix and match all the colors (except for pink and red), but still... Just not as good as it looks.

    Contour palette.
So far, I've only used the dark brown shade for contouring. What is contouring for? It's meant to make your face looks thinner, more defined. It's especially effective for those with a chubby face. The lighter shade of brown is for those with fairer tone. The rest? I don't know. Blusher? Highlighter?

    Lip palette.
Again, I know the colors look really nice in the picture. The shades of corals, pinks, and reds. I thought the corals would give out a nice neutral color, but nope. It actually turned out pink. The pinks are well, potent pinks. The reds are freaking red. I've yet to use the white to lighten the color. So far, I've only tried a couple of the colors, and it looks rather weird on me. It's just too pink for me.

    78 eyeshadow + blusher + highlighter palette.
Don't like the blusher, the payoff is not good.
The eyeshadows are pretty pigmented though. All the nice different shades and I don't even know what occasion to use the colors for, like pinks, reds, greens, etc.

    120 eyeshadow.
This is my favorite palette. 120 colors, endless possibilities. The colors are amazing, extremely pigmented. A little goes a long way. It's like looking into a rainbow. It has all the shades imaginable.

The palette came with 2 colors broken, but I don't have a 70% isopropyl alcohol solution to press it back, so I just left it that way.

And the bottom palette, the extreme right columns, the colors come in a combined mixed shimmer, like blue and green in one circle, yellow and green, yellow and orange, etc.

    Johnson's Kids 2-in-1 conditioning shampoo.
This is what I use to shampoo all my brushes. Not too harsh, and it has conditioner as well.
But always breakdown the color from the brushes with olive oil first.

I'm missing out a couple of Maybelline Mascaras and Gel eyeliners (totally forgot about them).
Bought a couple of Maybelline Mascara (the XXL extension + volume) at a very good price... One is for dramatic usage as it really lengthens the lashes, while the other one is used to just enhance the lashes.
The 3 gel eyeliners: Black, Platinum, and White. Bought the black and white. The platinum was a free gift. The black is really creamy, and lasts the entire day without smudging. It could be applied to the waterline as well, and it doesn't smudge AT all, and very lasting! But it's a tad difficult to remove though. The white was meant to be used as an eyeshadow base so that the eyeshadow colors will be more bright and lively. And the platinum? I have no idea. Never tried it. Supposed it will be great as a base for smokey-eyed looks.

    --

If you need to know where I get my palettes, or makeup stuff, contact me.
If you know of any great places with a great deal on makeup stuff, contact me.
If you've got any items you've NEVER used, and don't plan on using, feel free to sell it to me for a reasonable price.

I'm always on a lookout for new makeup items. And I was so tempted to purchase the Sephora Stiff Blending Brush yesterday, but it cost almost $40. Like major ass ouch. For a tiny brush.
I cannot walk into Sephora again till I have a lot of cash, because that place is heaven to me. How I wish I was working there.

    That's all peeps.

    Movie Review: G.I Joe

Been a long time since I've reviewed about a movie.

Went to Botanic Gardens today (pictures will be uploaded onto FB soon), got into a bitch-fit with Kenny, and he had a potty-mouth that needs to be washed with soap and detergent, and refused to talk to him for the rest of the journey to a cinema and until the movie ended. Dork.

Anyhow, decided to watch G.I Joe: Rise of the Cobra since it's out today!

The movie was pretty awesome, the storyline was pretty cool.
(Here's coming from someone who hasn't watched the cartoon in many many many years and could barely remember the characters except for Snake Eyes and Scarlet, and the evil Doctor)

I just love the combat scene.

And what I hate about the movie (spoiler ahead):
Why the fuck would McCullen sell his fucking "creation" (ok, fine, the creation was the Doctor's), and then try to retrieve it back? When all he could bloody do is NOT sell it? And use it for his own gain? I mean, wouldn't it be simpler? He doesn't have to go to that far a mean to retrieve anything back.

    Oh wait,

I think they wanted to find a way to swap Presidents. Hence they needed all the media and the shit to scare the president and get him into the Debunker (which was created by the evil people... how intelligent, eh?).

Overall, it's a nice movie to watch. Packed with loads of action. Something guys will definitely love, since there's not much lovey-dovey scenes, all action-packed.

And I love Scarlet's hair color.
And Sienna Miller (acted as Anastasia) looked old.
And I adored the way Channing Tatum (acted as Duke) spoke with his "accent". (I thought he was a buffed-up version of Chad Michael Murray)
And I still think Mark Wahlberg or Sam Worthington would make a better Duke-character.

    My verdict:
    4 out of 5.

    Some CGIs were just bad.
    Go figure.

    Till next review.

    Sporting a new look... not

I swear I am not a fan of Lady GaGa. I've only heard one song from her, which is Paparazzi. I am only aware of how she looks like, and how her hairstyle is AFTER I cut my hair.

And I've done my hair the GaGa-style once more.
I'm just so addicted to the hairstyle cuz it frames my round face so nicely, making me look so much more cuter *ahem*

I wanted to sport more of Hayley's style, but just can't make it cuz of the poker straight hair I'm having right now. Perhaps, when it gets more "natural", I'll layer my hair some more, and try to have a whimsy bangs.

My hair looks like a fucking wig at the moment.

    Re-enactment:
Me: Guess how my hair looks like now!!!
    Sister: Like Cleopatra
    Me: How do you know??!!
    Sister: What's different about you?

    Thanks eh, Cleopatra.

And I'm soooo gonna color my hair dirty blonde again in a month's time. Perhaps brighter.

And I'm fucking tired now. I've been awake for 24hours straight. I need a sleep.
